What We Believe

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Timothy 3:16)

Core Beliefs

We are a Fundamental Baptist Church that is dedicated to the proclamation of the whole counsel of the Word of God. We believe that the entirety of the Bible - from Old Testament to the New Testament - has been give through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16). All of our preaching and teaching is out of the King James Version Bible.

That God is a live, true, intelligent, holy, personal being; the creator, preserver, and ruler of the universe.
That the bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God.
That man was created in the image of God, and through temptation of Satan and by his choice, fell; and by grace through faith in Christ as the Redeemer, can be restored and justified to peace and favor with God. Yes, we believe in the new birth and regeneration by repentance and faith.
That man should grow in grace by feeding on His Word, fellowship, witness, obedience, and prayer.
That baptism is by immersion, and the Lord's Supper is in memory of Christ; both ordinances to be administered by the church.
That the church is a congregation of baptized believers
That a born again person will endure to the end
That the first day of the week is the Lord's Day
That there is a Heaven and a Hell, and that Christ will come again in person, bodily and visibly, to establish His kingdom on earth and sit on David's throne.
That the saved will be rewarded according to their works, and the wicked will be judged according to their deeds and be cast into Hell forever.
That the gospel should be preached to every creature
That the church and state should be separated. We believe in religious liberty; and that every Christian should defend his country and obey authority, if possible.
That all should pay a tenth of their income to the church.
That we have no priest but Christ, no sacrifice but Calvary, and only one confessional - the throne of grace.
That in Christ alone the fullness of the Godhead dwells.
That all believers should confess publicly that Christ is Lord and Savior
That Christ is the way, the truth, and the life; and Christ in us is our hope of glory
That we have sinned, we have repented, we have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, we are forgiven and saved, we will be in the first resurrection, and we will reign with Christ forever in His kingdom. Amen.
