Haiti Mission Update Spring 2010 from Bill Jackson on Vimeo.

Haiti Light and Life Evangelical Missions sponsored trip to Cap Haitien, Haiti in May of this year was a rousing success. We accomplished all of our goals, and spent some quality time on neighborhood walks handing out tracts, and doing community evangelical work. Many were saved, and we were able to attend Sunday services at two of the three churches that we sponsor. I went as a missonary from the Binghamtown Baptist church, and had the special opportunity to bring the message at those churches. The Lord blessed, and two were saved in the morning service. One of them was baptized four others that afternoon. The six of us stayed with Pastor Claude and his family, and we really enjoyed their hospitality. We visited the Church/School at Bas Fosse, and were warmly welcomed. The same was true at La Suisse and Haut De Cap. While there, we met with Port Au Prince refugees, heard their sad stories, and prayed with them. On our neighborhood walks, we encountered many with illnesses and debilitating injuries. Several showed up at Haut De Cap to be prayed over, and it was a blessing to be able to minister to them. If you ever had a twinge of interest in contributing to a mission in Haiti, you can be assured that this is a good one. I have been there, lived with them, worshiped with them, observed their faithfulness and enthusiasm, and felt their love. Then mission itself takes nothing out for administration costs. Those are all born by the mission coordinators. There is a real need here, and they are doing a great work. I can't wait until I get a chance to return, hopefully this fall. Binghamtown has established a Haiti fund to support this mission, and you can send your contributions there if you wish. Visit the mission web site for lots more information about their beliefs and purpose. http://www.haitlightandlife.org By the way, Pastor Claude is supposed to visit us at Binghamtown in August. We will try to get some more information on our church website. http://www.binghamtown.org Thank you for your interest. - Bill Jackson

The Power of a Praying Church - Part 7

Acts Chapter 4

This is a special "sit down" teaching sermon by our pastor. He teaches that a purposeful prayer life is the key to profitable worship. Tribulation comes to all, but how do we handle it? Along with his sermon, Dale Eldridge sings Amazing Grace, The Binghamtown Trio performs, and we have some baptisms at the end.

The Power of a Praying Church

 Acts 4:13 - 1 Cor 10:35

God used common fishermen to turn Jerusalem upside down. Prayer is the common denominator that can bring us all together. Are you doing your part in your church? Maybe your name is on the church role, but not on Heaven's role. Repentance means turning around and heading in a new direction with your life. It's the evidence of being truly saved.

The Seven Confessions of Faith - Part 8

Romans 5

Pastor William Boyd Bingham tells us how to maintain an attitude of gratitude. Jesus wanted us to have a genuine peace, the kind that will cast away our doubts and fears. Nothing, or no one but Jesus can fill the emptiness or void in your life.

The Seven Confessions of Faith - Part 7

John 20:19, Romans 4:25, 5:1

The Devil is using fear to keep us ineffective. Jesus the lawkeeper appeared to lawbreakers and said, "Peace be unto you!" Out trust, confidence, and hope is based on faith in the Lord. Jesus did for us what we could never do for ourselves.

The Lesson and Legacy of Mercy

Ruth was called out of the darkness of Moab. She was delivered and redeemed to sit at the table to the lord of the host. The blessing of mercy can be passed down through the generations.

Kindling Fires and Killing Snakes

Kindling the fires of revival requires that we attend the unattended church, read the unread Bible, bow the unbowed knee, and confess our unconfessed sin.

Nothing - W.B. Bingham II

With opening remarks by William Boyd Bingham III, this is the last sermon preached by his father WB Bingham II, before the auto accident that took his life.  He shows us that nothing can separate a child of God from the love of God, in Christ Jesus. There is also nothing to fear from death, for the believer.

How To Make It Through Difficult Times

"Snow Day" sermon in a "Fireside Chat" format. Drawing from three prior sermons, Pastor Bingham continues with the series on "Questions of Examination." References are: Psalm 119:105, Matthew 4:4, and Matthew 16:18. Jesus said, "I will build my church," and the church is invinceable and indestructable until His return. Special music by the Binghamtown Trio, Jimmy Jackson, and the Binghamtown Choir.
